Shelly-
baby chicks soon Here is one of my brooders for the older chicks..it's in a warm draft free area..the basement dungeon so I don't worry about drafts...they have a full view of all the action..you know the washing machine dryer and friends. This is my double decker brooder but we have some smaller singles as well..They took about an hour to make
My "new" house is up to this point 100% recycled it's 8x16 with 8' walls. 2 exterior doors 4 operational windows and to date we have around $200 in it but now I'm insulating it that will go up.Not very pretty it's "rust"ic but in the Spring we will coat it and paint it to match the house or something.Jen has been out here several times so she knows how much I want those high walls and doors
Here it is..it doesn't lean really
supposed to be a snow pic-that's the back side that will turn out to the play pen..as you can tell it's not finished...he needs another weekend to have it livable and then a few weekends to build my brooders but the big chicks will be able to move out
