I have a SLW pair that are nearing POL....I havent lost any yet due to heat...knock on wood..

We have Wyandotte's but it's not easy getting any of them from me

We have BL laying a few nice roos growing up looking for a new address and some eggs in the bator...going to change roos soon so then nothing will be for sale until Spring from his chicks.I also have some Partridge pullets close to pol but my partridge roo is a bit younger so we won't have chicks from them until next year.I do have a beautiful blue Wyandotte roo for sale..not going to have room for the bbs pen next year.All are pure Foley bred.

Here is one of my boys..he's quite young in the picture though so he's filled out more...they take 18 months to fully mature so he now has about 6 more months to go

Hey CarolJ, I like your raised garden boxes! I have a couple of them back behind my veg garden. They are great! My baby greens and strawberries do really well in those. (the wild rabbits agree, LOL!)

My garden needed to be super inexpensive ( = FREE!), so I asked to scrounge leftover bricks from a new subdivision my parents moved into. It's a lot of grunt work, but free's the way I roll these days, LOL! Beats the gym, anyhoo. The "mulch" is left over from tree stumps the electric company ground down in my yard.

And next . . . finding a way to scrounge 4' picket fencing. Or cut my own from 2 x 4s, maybe. (winter project)


Holly, would it be inappropriate to say I like your roo's . . . ahem . . . bottom???

believer01, how the heck are you, lady?? It's good to hear from you. Thanks for posting the brown recluse info. I will call our BYC Medicine Woman if I ever get a bite! I'll just bet you are growing lots of fabulous, mysterious plants over your way.

Actually the worst part of gardening is not the building, it's the dang weeding! I could have a team of kids out here 8 hours a day and never stay on top of it. *sigh*

Sorry...no pullets.We just sold about 30 started birds from that flock. I may have some pullets later this fall from what I'm hatching now otherwise it will be Spring when the winter chicks start being sold...we sell between 4-6 months old or straight run at hatch.Right now there is only some breeding prospect roos and one flock protector back yard roo available.In the spring we will also have partridge chicks available

Do you need me to bring you over a heater for that coop I have a spare...my chick house runs 90 every day-about to go put an ac in there but as soon as I do it will cool off.Chicks love it rabbits are hating it...my campaign for a new rabbit house is working nicely

it's got to be one of those inexpensive one's like the chick house though and I'm just plain short on the scraps right now.Between you and me we should be able to keep this County well recycled

Oh for anyone in our area thinking about some chicks..my kids want a few NN so I'm going to be ordering some for shipment this coming week.They have all kinds of plans for them already

So,if anyone wants to order just a few chicks from Ideal or Welp you can stick them on my order..Welp may not ship next week never know until the order is placed but they are usually pretty quick.

Jenski maybe you are seeing the little rabbit hutches I use for silkie coops. I have 7 of them and I am currently filled to the max most have runs and some I use to put them up before showing/ outdoor brooder when not show season. They are great IMO!
