AHHHH BUT WHY???? Really I wanna know why you are so stubborn about dobies?? Did that whole thing I sent earlier not do anything?

They’re just too protective and scary looking LOL even the natural ones. Plus the potential for DA, SSA, possibly HA. I need a dog that is friendly with everyone and everything LOL

Lmao dog aggression, same sex aggression, and human aggression.

True but I’ve met some very friendly ones including a huge very fluffy one that came to a hospital I was at every week.

And I guess so. Plus I just haven’t really met many LOL

And the funny thing is… bully breeds all have the potential for ALL of that too but Brew doesn’t show those traits LOL there’s been a couple people he didn’t like but mostly he loves everyone. And even the ones he didn’t like, it usually wasn’t the person themselves. Like one time there was a giant black garbage bag flying behind a guy. He was fine and COMPLETELY buddy buddy with him once he got to get close to/sniff the bag and see what it was LOL but I am obviously very careful and know he still has potential to show it eventually. I’m not naive. Although now I don’t have him soooo…

I need either another Brew or something like a Lab or a Golden. FROM A GOOD BREEDER because I know poorly bred ones have now begun to show those traits as well. LOL

Must be different experiences because I’ve met far more dog/people aggressive GSDs than I have dobies (none). Granted, I have encountered FAR more GSDs than dobies. How many dobies have you actually met that were aggressive? I feel like you are falling victim to the over hyped aggressive association of the breed. Pit bulls get far worse reputation yet you don’t fall for that because you’ve seen first hand that isn’t always the case. Don’t you think that if you’d had the opportunity to meet more dobies that might happen with them as well?

Actually… have I ever told yall I used to hate Dobermans? I used to think they were all bad and aggressive, then I learned how idiotic I was to think a dog is bad just because of the breed, like how so many people do with pits. I think it’s crazy how much I have changed my opinion on Dobermans.

My mom always said Rottweilers and pit bulls were very dangerous dogs, for example, and would NEVER own one. Like… she probably would NOT have allowed me to adopt Brew if she was alive at the time. Or maybe make me return after the DNA test. Although I have a feeling she would have eventually fallen in love too LOL but anyways, I’ve always loved Rotties and used to want one really badly LOL mostly because I knew someone with one and had heard they were total goofballs at home LOL but like… she wouldn’t even walk anywhere near the Rottie ring at one particular dog show we went to LOL which I don’t mean to LOL so much or make fun of her but that’s how much society and probably her parents influenced her.
