What all do you need to know? Its a double show being held at Rotary Park in Lawrenceburg on December 3rd. If you need more info, like actual directions (bg) let me know.

Its a nice show hall, well lit. Plenty of parking. If you want to set up to sell outside of the hall they charge five dollars.

I would like more info, hubby and I might want to go. Double show? What is the show for? General Poultry? Do you need to be NPIP cert to sell and by sell do you mean chickens? or things?

I don't want to show but would like to see what they are all about and maybe sell some roos? I don't have to sell them to go.

I need directions and Times please.

As I already mentioned its a double show, which means the birds will be judged twice by different judges. The cost to enter for adults is $4.00 per bird, for juniors its $2.00. To show you have to have current NPIP testing and bring that proof to the show. No sick birds are allowed.

For outside selling NPIP is not needed. You can sell whatever your little heart desires outside as long as its legal.

Directions from Nashville, South on 65 to exit 46 (99/412) Stay on 43 all the way to Lawrenceburg. Turn right on Weakley Creek street, there will be a bank on the corner, cross the RR tracks, follow the road to the left, the entrance to Rotary Park is on the Right. Evidently they will have a large chicken set up at the entrance.

If you're using GPS the address is: 927 N. Military Ave, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464

The hall opens at 6:30 on Saturday, coop in must be by 9:00 with judging following immediately after.

Anyone who wants to show and has not entered yet, time has run out for mail ins. But if you PM me I can give you phone contact for entering over the phone. The cut off for that is Nov. 30th.

Thank you! Is there an admission fee for spectators? or Parking Fees? Just asking in case my son and his kids want to come in a separate car.

Carol see if any of your kin want to go, then the next time they razz you about the chickens you can remind them how much fun they had at the show. And how much they wanted you to buy "that chicken" they saw and wanted for themselves

I just looked at the map to see where Lawrenceburg is - and it's just a little further than Ethridge. Ethridge is where I got my new chicken house a couple weeks ago. It would be a pretty easy drive for me.

I don't have any desire to show any chickens - not qualified (not NPIP) and don't have any show quality chickens anyway. However, I think it would be fun to look around and see what a show is like. Thanks for the information!

No charge for those coming to look. That's how I got hooked, I went to a show. The rest, as they say, is history.

That's a first, having a rabbit show at the same time. You're liable to be in the same building.
