You know I didn't ask prices really. I didn't need to buy. We had a guy right next to us with pairs and started pullets. His prices seemed ok for what he had. I think there were 3, me, the guy next to me and a guy with a flat bed trailer full of birds, duck, and chicks. I didn't really see many people buy chickens. I only sold to 4 people, I know the guy next to me sold some, cuz he was pulling more out to sell. We got there later than we should have, but getting up at 6 was enough for me.... it was about 9 when we got there.

That is a HUGE Co-op! and Nice too.

Do let me know how it goes.... I don't think you will get a ton of chicks. I told your wife she would be ok.... Only a few would hatch and 1/2 will be roos you can get rid of pretty soon when you know the roos. You have to hatch more than you need.... kinda the rules of 1/2, 1/2 will hatch and 1/2 will be roos.... but with the SLW that will not be true..... GOOD LUCK!

I put eggs under my broodies today too..... I had them in the shop with some no good SLW eggs and they were sticking with it so..... BCM are under both of them now. One pullet had some cold eggs

I hope she does better with the real ones.... maybe she can talk to them since they are on day 15-16.

Hello everyone!!!!! I am positive no one remembers me but I was on here up until the Army had us move to Germany. I had to let my girls go (super sucked) and was forced into stairwell housing. After being in purgatory for about 2 years I am going back to Tennessee!! We just bought home w/an acre in Dover......and it has the perfect shed which is BEGGING to be transformed into a coop! :D

Anyhow, I will go back to lurking until the big move in May. I just wanted to say HI! (I couldn't stand it anymore!)

I have a whole bunch I live in Sparta. I have show girls and a buch of small banties. If they are wanting to process them I want be much help, but if they are just wanting to add some to their flock I have them coming out my ears :)
