It really shocked me how much they ate when I gave them some... the leftover red, the white and now all I have are shriveled green bits all over the yard.

Columbia Farm and Supply had some Polish (last season) the other day when I went, not sure what kind. Just a heads-up, though...they are only selling them as male/female pairs...

Yes its out. I saw it fall over on its head out of the egg crate then watched untill it made it all the way out. Watching it struggle to get out of the shell made me want to help it. But I realize it needs to do it itself, kinda the will to survive thing. Cute chicks.

I waited on that second chick to get it's butt out of that shell then I checked the other four real quick. None of them are internally pipped yet so I'm going to bed. That barnyard X that just hatched is a crybaby. I hope I can sleep!
