I'm so happy that 9 of the SFH eggs hatched for you! Please post photos! I've got 11 in the bator now - due to hatch Sunday/Monday.

TADAH!

I just love these little things! The 2 RIR are easy enough to spot I reckon. I got 3 basic color patterns in them, and some you can tell will have the crests.

Thanks again, I really do love them. Now I just have to get them their own housing figured out before too long. I don't think I want these in the community house with my other yard rangers.

Just curious, how many pens do you have. ( any body can answer) I only have 1 for now. I'm looking for land nearby, CHEAP. But apparently they aren't making any more and the price keeps going up. I would like to have around 10 pens kinda like Donna's setup but bigger. I can't do that here. I don't have the room plus my wife would FLIP.
If I had seen the post about the fair earlier I would have tried to make it. As it is I have to work tomorrow. :( Hope ya'll have a good time.

How is the wife feeling about that?

BTW I have 15 breeding pens

10 in back and 5 in front.... that is not including all the little 3 x 5 pens I can use for breeding too.

The three SFH hens that have are three different patterns - and the rooster is a different color/pattern from the hens. So you should have some nice variety in the chicks. The are beautiful chickens, I think. Definitely my favorites.
