You are right - but he doesn't want to give them back. He said he wants to keep them.you shouldn't take them back..... let them get rid of them. You are NPIP and can't.
Quote:I have 3 WL pullets I will give him... they lay an egg with a chalky yellow yolk. I read that there is some gene they can get if they have white legs that will cause that. Mine have white legs
and white yolks too
their eggs don't hatch either.![]()
Pumpkin and pumpkin seedsAnd helps with impacted crop too!
Anyone know of natural de wormers?
Trying to reason with some people is like trying to pick up a turd from the clean endHad something interesting happen today. I put an ad on Craigslist to give away some EE cockerels that I had. I had a bunch of responses - and I met a guy this afternoon to give them to him. A couple hours after he got the chickens, he emailed me asking. "Are these roosters?"
WHAT??? The title of the ad was "4 Easter Egger Cockerels - Free" - and I wrote in the ad that I was getting rid of them because I didn't need any more roosters. He wrote back that he just saw they were EEs - didn't realize they were roosters. I offered to take them back - don't know if he'll take me up on it or not. I had no idea that I needed to clarify that cockerels are males.
I told my husband from now on if the chickens are male, I'm going to call them ROOSTERS no matter how old they are.
LOL! Never heard that before - I love it!Trying to reason with some people is like trying to pick up a turd from the clean end
