The Monster Inside ***An apocalyptic thriller RP***

Is this a good idea?

  • Yes, you should make some more of these types of thriller RPs!!!

  • Yeah, I guess it's kinda cool, but a little scary for my taste.

  • Nah, too freaky. *bundles in blanket to ward off bad guys*

  • Yes, I think it's a cool idea, but I would prefer if you made other types of RPs.

‘ Sure.’ Sky handed her a cookie, before grabbing another one for themself. ‘ What time is it? It looks late.’
Kit munched on the cookie, a contented sigh escaping her lips. "Half past one. I'm... going to head back to my apartment to sleep in just a bit, okay? I can take one of them, if you want." She motioned towards Zayne and Jean.

‘ Okay. I don’t care if they stay or not or any combination of the two, it might actually let me get some sleep knowing if a monster comes in they die first.’ Sky let out a small laugh, reaching for another cookie. They realized there was only one left, and ate it. If they didn’t, who would? At least that’s what they told themself as they swallowed it.

Kit frowned, watching them for a moment. "You'd really be okay with that?"

Jean scooted over on the couch to make room for Zayne, making sure to bring the stool with her. "Sit down," she said, patting the seat next to her.

Zayne got to his feet, moving to sit down next to her. “Thanks,” he said, leaning against the cushions. He dug through his backpack, fishing out a bottle of Advil and handing it to her. “This might help with your leg.”

Jean shifted to make herself more comfortable, her ankle throbbing. "Thanks, hon." She said, giving him a tired wink. A yawn forced its way out of her mouth, and she sighed, taking the bottle from him and popping one into her mouth, swallowing it dry.

Once she was done with it, Zayne took the almost empty bottle back and tucked it safely in his backpack.
He leaned back, closing his eyes. “What do you think we should do for tonight? Should we leave?” He asked.

Jean let out a breathe, turning her head to look at him. "I mean, yeah... I don't want to overstay our welcome. We did kinda just barge in here, and they already have three people staying here." Her eyelids felt heavy. The polite part of her wanted to leave, to go and stay somewhere were she wouldn't be intruding. But... It felt so safe here. She didn't have to worry about the monsters, and Zayne was alive, and they both had their wounds taken care of, to some extent. Jean closed her eyes, letting herself drift.

Zayne watched her, nodding his head. “Yeah,” he said simply, his gaze drifting to the ceiling. “I’ll see what they say when they come back in here.”
