The Monster Inside ***An apocalyptic thriller RP***

Is this a good idea?

  • Yes, you should make some more of these types of thriller RPs!!!

  • Yeah, I guess it's kinda cool, but a little scary for my taste.

  • Nah, too freaky. *bundles in blanket to ward off bad guys*

  • Yes, I think it's a cool idea, but I would prefer if you made other types of RPs.

Zayne closed his eyes, listening to the hushed chatter coming from the kitchen. He wondered what they were talking about. Was the owner of this apartment - Sky, was it? - going to let them stay overnight?
As Kit entered the room, Zayne opened his eyes, looking in her direction. “Hey,” he greeted, “I want to thank you again, for helping us. Most people would’ve just slammed the door in our faces. I really appreciate what you did.” He said, glancing towards Jean’s sleeping form. He didn’t know what he would’ve done had no one been home, or they ran into another monster.

(That was sad. Really well written, but sad.)
It'd be funny to see what he'd do if I took control for a sec.

No it wouldn't, Kit thought at the monster. Her eyes unfocused for a bit as Razor tried to take ahold of her body without her permission, and she swayed to the side, before righting herself.

"Uhhhh, yes..." She said, blinking and trying to get her thoughts together. "It wasn't a problem. You can stay here, or you can come with me to my room for the night." Kit glanced down at the sleeping Jean. "I don't think we should wake her, though.."

Aisling continued to run as fast as she could, clutching Emily's hand tightly in hers.
"He's not going to die, is he?" Emily asked, worry clouding her eyes.
Aisling glanced down at Emily. "Who, Blake? Of course not." She smiled, but behind that smile was only fear and concern of her own. Would Blake die? No. He couldn't.

Sky stood in the kitchen, their eyes filled with fear. Taking a quick look in the window showed a monster, it’s face pressed up against the glass, it’s bony fingers clawing at the bottom, trying to get in. Sky slowly backed towards the wall, shaking. They couldn’t suck up the courage to speak, to attack, to do anything. Sky could only watch as it’s fingers slowly began to pry the window open, making a horrible creaking sound.

Zayne tilted his head, giving her a look of concern. “Are you okay?” He asked, noting how her eyes fogged over.
As the subject changed to Jean, he glanced over at her. “Yeah, I don’t want to wake her up unless I have to. Thank you for letting us stay.”

Thank you. :) (And it was extra depressing cuz I wasn't having the greatest days when I started writing it, lol. XD I have a tendency to portray my feelings through my writing.)

(Aw, I’m sorry. Yeah, same for me. XD)

Kit coughed, trying to hide her inward struggle. "Yeah, just dizzy. And no problem. If Sky gets a little cranky, just let me know. I'm two door down to the left." She smiled, and took a deep breath.

Then she heard a long creaaaaak from the kitchen.

Yeah, you better go check that out.

Kit walked towards where Sky was.

Sky continued to watch, petrified, as the monster slowly began to crawl through the window. Sky finally let out a scream, and quickly tried to find a weapon.
This is not good, oh no no no no, very bad. They thought as they desperately searched through the nearest drawer for a knife, a fork, anything.

Emily choked back a sob. She could tell that Aisling's words were empty. There was no truth in them. Behind Aisling's eyes, she could see uncertainty. And it was then when Emily realized how real this all was. In the blink of an eye, she could be dead, her body laying on the hard ground, cold. Or she could be the one killing. She could be a monster. A chill ran up her spine
