The Moonshiner's Leghorn Thread Peanut Gallery

My little red leghorns pullet is doing better. I put her with the batch that was a week younger and that seemed to help her. She was runty in her group (all three had been) and I wonder if they were just too much for her to cope.

My Isabella are doing great but they're so skittish. Think I ended up with only 2 girls though, which means 3 boys. Fun. But I still have my rose combed brown pullets too, which will make good splits, right?
 
Here's one of the leghorns males. I'm liking the colorong, but the hackles look a little too tan and not creamy

Thank you. I asked because there is someone that just received red leghorn chicks from this same hatchery and the have issues.
I'll get some pictures of her tonight. She's still small, but she's growing and doing better than a sebright runt I have as well fromba different hatchery. I wonder if that stock just isn't as refined and robust as the other colors they have

If this colour variety is more rare, they might be quite inbred which leads to dwarfism among other issues.
