The Moonshiner's Leghorns

@ MIAMI LEGHORN @ColtHandorf @anyone else that breeds.
Back to those runs you all are building or playing on building.
What size runs and how many birds are you planning?
Going with the standard 10 SF per bird or?
I haven't decided but quite frankly the price of wood is influencing a little bit on what size I'm going to build. At the same time if I'm going to sacrifice space and comfort,I'd rather wait until I have the funds. I was leaning towards the design I posted for Peafowl...Somewhere in the vicinity of 5 to 6 ft wide; 10 to 12 ft long; 6.5 feet high.
A good 5 ft of it for shade and nest boxes.

And then it could change before I even start building, but for sure the design I posted is definitely going to be in that style.
Yeah and I'm stealing your idea of having a door to let you go from run to run without having to step outside.
Or
I could build another section that acts like a safety chamber in front of all the pens that extends from and to end so if one gets by me and tries to escape it will be still inside the structure just not in it's own pen.

This is my thought right now.
The cost of everything is becoming a factor.
I'm going with a hybrid wood and chainlink idea. Decided to grab a gallon of exterior paint today because I'll need to paint some posts right off the bat.
Off course there was no oops paint so I went with the medium version of their good stuff.
27.99 and up ended up $38 F'ing $$$.
She asked if I needed the receipt? Sh!t no, I don't need that for a reminder.

May not be a proper angle but if you can see and focus, there's a door that lets you in but you're not inside the pens just yet, each pen has its own door so should a parrot fly out of its pen it's still enclosed in the front section.

Ya that was my original plan but couldn't bring myself to give up what could be run space for a walk way.
That's in the barn so limited area.

@Amer
I have a red wheaten hen. No matching rooster so what pattern would you breed her with to get some in the future?
Thinking something dominate to her so when I do hatch a future wheaten I'll know it's pure or at least pure on the e locus.
Preferably something that wouldn't bring in a lot of nonsense, you know?

I don’t know much about this, but I’d breed her to a wheaten-based black-tailed red. Can I see her? (Not for genetic info, I just want to see her.)
