The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

Clary looked around the group of strange looking people, hoping someone could tell her what was happening. She slowly crouched down, picking up the stone. I need to get back... she thought. “Oh, come on, work you stupid thing.” She said under her breath. But nothing happened, and she remained standing in the nice looking coffee shop covered in dirt.
She walked up to the counter and ordered one of the delicious looking pastries and a cup of coffee. If she was teleported here it must’ve been for a reason, and if she was going to stay she might as well make herself comfortable. She paid for her food and sat on an unoccupied table, kicking her feet up on the chair next to her. She pulled off a piece of her cookie and dipped it in her coffee, taking a bite of the warm chocolate-y goodness.
(You’re late honey...)

“Children, people... everyone!” Kyle squeaked. He smoothed his plain blue Barbie shirt -the Ken dolls had awfully long, buff torsos compared to his spare frame- and stood up. He was fortunate to at least have the ability to project his voice... rather theatrically at times.
Take glanced down at Kyle, bending down to see him better.
“Yo.. um how did I get there?” He questioned, scratching his head.

“You see that blue amulet? It transported you here to the mother amulet because you are the chosen one and... I think I should wait to explain the rest once everyone gets here,” Kyle explained. “Or at least pays attention to me.”

Take nods and pulls out the stone from his pocket, then proceeds to stand up. “Alright little guy.” he says and takes a deep breath.
“HEY, ALL OF YOU WHO JUST MAGICALLY APPEARED HERE, LISTEN UP AND PAY ATTENTION TO THIS LITTLE GUY!” He yelled.

Kyle felt the wind go right out of him as a flying projectile knocked him onto his back.
“I’m okayyayyyy...” he sputtered, rolling to his knees. “I’m sorry, I mean, I forgive you, anyways you are chosen for a great purpose...” he trailed off. The girl was still fussing over him. “You’re not...”
“Merower?” Rylie enquired. He pounced on the stone, batting it across the table with his big white paws before sending it skittering over the edge.
Kyle cringed and poked his head over the side before heaving a sigh of relief. Those stones must be more durable than I thought. “Those things are like thousands of years old,” he said. “At least I made for a soft landing...”
Annie grimaced, hearing how old it was, and immediately crouched down under the table to pick it back up. She should maybe put it somewhere safe. But where? She glanced around and decided her pocket was as good as any other place.

Her eyes were drawn to the new people who just appeared. There was empty air and then a light blue glow before POOF a person was there. She'd never seen anything like it before. That must be how I got here. She thought, though it didn't make sense, she couldn't deny what she had seen with her own eyes.

“People?” Kyle tried again. “Well, anyone who’s listening, I’d like you to know that you are here for a reason! You are the chosen ones!” He passed his gaze over the room of frightened teens. He had to admit, he expected a lot more adults to turn up. In fact, none of this really met his expectations of what this long-awaited day was going to be like.
Wasn’t it supposed to be great to be chosen? Instead of happiness, and pride all he saw was fear, anxiety, and a whole lot of confusion. One boy was crouched in a corner, wings folded over his head, another goggling girl totally discombobulated clutching a bouquet surrounded by scattered petals, and another anxiously rubbing her stone. In fact, only one soul was really keeping cool in this whole tempestuous room.
Whoever that girl was, he certainly didn’t recognize her, was definitely a character he wanted to know. And the questioning three-eyed boy Tate, too. He didn’t take any time.
