hay on the run "floor" hadn't occurred to me. Linoleum is something I actually wanted to try because I thought it might be easier to remove the stuck on stuff.I was scrolling through YouTube and found this video. It is The most officiant chicken coop I’ve seen so far. Our Coop has or larger wire even though we have many predators. It’s a very very well executed chicken coop, the YouTube one that is. we have also been looking into rain water collection and this gives us a great idea. Me too with the linoleum but our run is basically a giant compost at this point cause of all the strawhay on the run "floor" hadn't occurred to me. Linoleum is something I actually wanted to try because I thought it might be easier to remove the stuck on stuff.![]()
I would imagine it would get quite soupy here. When it rains it rains for weeks. If there was a way to keep plants growing in the run that would be way better. but I doubt that's plausible. I wouldn't feel it necessary to clean the run. What I want to do is have multiple runs and rotate which one they're using each year, and then the one from the previous year could be used as a garden space.Me too with the linoleum but our run is basically a giant compost at this point cause of all the straw
