He only needs the toddy at night, when he lays down and starts coughing. but, yes, he is feeling better!
If I catch the symptoms right at the beginning, I pump him full of echinacea, and that usually nips it in the bud. But he didn't really complain about it until it was good and rooted in. Now, all I can do is give vitamin C and treat the symptoms.

I'm glad he's feeling better Rachel when you posted you were pouring it down him all I could pic was a fermented husband. ... we talk so much about ff.

Just sharing some pictures of my chickens. The coop is far from finished. The door I found free downtown where they were remodeling, beautiful brass door handle on it. It's inside out so I can lock it. That must be why the paint is peeling. The picture of the hen shows that my coop isn't as pretty as others. The girls don't respect their home. The one with the Hamburg sitting on top of the Marans is funny. The Marans is the broody one.






Not sure how these pics are going to turn out.

Just had to share.....its a newbie thing but today Santa gave me another early Christmas present.......3 hens are laying

Only one more to go.............




And so happy the hens decided to go out in the snow today



In celebration my Mom & I made about 3 dozen Johnny cakes for them.............

Just sharing some pictures of my chickens. The coop is far from finished. The door I found free downtown where they were remodeling, beautiful brass door handle on it. It's inside out so I can lock it. That must be why the paint is peeling. The picture of the hen shows that my coop isn't as pretty as others. The girls don't respect their home. Great coop! I love the big window in the front of it. It looks pretty spacious.

Here's mine, only pic I have of it, I'll have to take more, ducks on left ,chickens on the right side mostly material our son brought home from a construction job he was working on. They were going to take to the land fill.

Oh my GOODNESS! You are so lucky! I am so jealous! lol.... truly though, that is fantastic.. congratulations, those girls desearve those johnny cakes! How old are your girls amorelady? I went another day with nothing. Wouldn't it be amazing if I got my first egg on Christmas Day?

Awwww....I'm envious! My girls are still not laying. And I don't have snow. Yay!!! for Johnny Cakes! The best-est tasty chicken treat EVER!
