Yikes! For those to be on day 27, 28, 29 and 30 I'd say those are all bad (unless maybe I misunderstood your dates?). I'd call every one of them Maypops AS IN THEY MAY EXPLODE AT ANY TIME!!!). Handle with extreme care, or you may be sorry, and end up wearing a lot of bad bad bad funky smell that won't wash off even if you scrub with BLEACH, lol. I would not try to open them (and I am ducking/wincing just looking at your pics, lol). Do they have a foul smell to them? are they oozing/sticky at all? I see little or no development, and to me they look rotten... are you sure these eggs were even fertile? Turning too much may have twisted the chalazas too much, but it's hard to say. IME with incubating, typically you see blood rings when an embryo has started to develop, but died shortly after.
Yep.. Agree here.. Would handle with extreme caution!

Also, I never throw blood rings out until all vessels have shrivelled up. I opened a pretty obvious blood ring and was shocked to find a very much alive embryo. I felt terrible. I have one now (silkie) that looks like a blood ring, but the heart is clearly beating. If the blood ring is thick and the only blood vessel I see - that is when I know they have died for sure (early on).

Where is my room??? I am SO MOVING IN!!!

I think I should have a cot in the heated room.. Here's my thinking.. What if I breed Alice and she is due to kid for the first time? I'm going to want to be close right! LOL

Susan thinks I'm nuts.

I'm going to be spending more of my time in the barn than in the house. Must put wifi out there! ;)

Thanks Delisha for taking the time to explain how you sex chicks.

RED- those chicks are beautiful !!

Aoxa- better make it a bunk bed so u have an extra spot for when we all come to visit :). Barn looks awesome !

I dont know I kindof agree! I keep telling people if they want to stay and dont like my uncomfterable pull out sofa they can camp in my hay loft! XD

Some pictures of the progress from the week!

We are expecting so much rain :/ It's been raining all week, but they've kept at it. Today it was down pouring, so they couldn't work outside. They did the interior stuff today instead. :)
This looks bigger than my house and your work is going faster than my repairs! And now the upright freezer quit!
Everyone have a wonderful holiday
You too! I have to stay home as the contractor is working Monday!
Woke up to chirping... almost two days late my Rhodebar eggs starting hatching overnight.

So glad I didn't give up on them.
I have 5 hatched, at least 3 more piping.
I haven't opened the bator since I had a low humidity problem toward the end of hatch last time after getting anxious and opening to take chicks out.
My last few were too dry and died.
So... I'm determine to leave these chicks until this evening...
YES... it's killing me. LOL
Pics tomorrow... maybe I can tell sex by then.
YAY for you!
Please thank him for me, too. I honor and appreciate the sacrifice he-and others- made for us all.

Yes Delisha thanks... now if I could remember that info!
All the Photos are so cute.

I type my sentence then watch as as the letters appear as if someone else is one finger pecking!!! I could almost retype it pecking ten times while watching it
Went to bathroom while that was appearing and was back before it was done! LOL

FYI If they were that close to hatching the egg would be really hard to see into.  It would be all black except where the aircell is ....  I vote BAD .... sorry :(

I need to correct my earlier post on these eggs. I think I must have missed where it was written that they weren't fresh. At 3 weeks, I'd be wearing my plastic suit with goggles and a close pin.
I have had eggs that looked like this but they were fresh from the hen.
