I have new babies hatching today. EE and OE. One hatched last night and the rest today. Finally I'm getting hatches closer to day 21. They have been hatching on day 19 and 20 for a while. I dropped the temp a little in the bator and hatcher and lowered my humidity during incubation and hatching. Thanks MCF!
It's supposed to get to up 65 here today and the sky is blue. The hens are starting to lay again. Come on with the hatching!

I have quail going in lockdown Starting Sunday (another staggered hatch) & a bator full of Rainbow layers that lockdown next Fri. Then there are a bunch set for 2/5 hatch & more quail due 2/2.

I have my next batch planned... will be setting in about 10 days.. I can't wait!!

What breeds are your Rainbow layers? I would like to raise some quail, but I just don't have room.

That's a cutie. Hows it doing?

The chick is doing great. It no longer has a heat light in the playpen. has some box's with a board going across now though cause it roosts every night. It's almost fully feathered. They grow so fast.

This is my december baby now. I am hoping it's a girl. So far I refer to the chick as a 'she' wishful thinking.
