(11/27/2012) Chapter 12: A Delicious Breakfast

Today was a very dreary day, the skys were dark, the ground a pile of mud, and rain was slowly drizzling down from the sky. The Buffingtons were happy for the rain, they could catch extra worms in this weather. But it was very cold outside, so they decided to start the day by eating a breakfast mash! They put hot water in a bowl of raw oatmeal and mashed carrots, drained some of the water, and stared at the delicious looking mash.


They quickly began to eat. It tasted deliciously juicy and slightly crunchy.


The Buffingtons enjoyed it so much, that Skye forgot to be mean to Chipmunk and Hershey! (Haha, The Mash causes World Peace xD) Of course, she pecked at her once or twice when she thought Chipmunk was eating more than her share. But other than that, they had a very peaceful Breakfast.

Soon, the mash warmed them from the inside out, and they were ready to start a full day of worm hunting!

The Little Giant Note: Hi! I'm sorry I haven't written down The Buffington's adventures in a while... They've been having their "Dog Days of Summer"... in winter. Then, my camera broke, so I have to use my Mom's (Which NEVER has a battery in it!!) for now. So they're are not many pictures. Okay, I'll stop typing now and let you enjoy the story. Chapter 13: Orange Meal

Today the Buffingtons prepared a yummy snack. They cut oranges into small slices, and mashed some spinach into the oranges.



The Buffingtons thought it was delicious! They ate it as quickly as possible!






Q, Skye, and Eggnog tried to hog it, but Chipmunk made sure that she and Hershey got their fair share.
