Here is great information for all of us buyers and sellers alike. I have been told repeated ly that I cannot insure eggs. Well maybe that just isn't true!!!

I will be changing my methods and see if the information here is true. Or the USPS blowing hot air , again.

My Post office told me that in the priority or the flat rate box it comes with 50.00 insurance automatically!

When you use click n ship you can get up to $50.00 coverage for free now.  I have been insuring all the eggs I send out now.

According to my PO you are supposed to get 50.00 insurance included with every package. I didn't have have to do anything to get it when I sent eggs a couple days ago. I wonder if they are leaving it off if not mentioned? Like ketchup at McDonald's?

It says it on the label with the bar code. If it is insured it will be on the label.

I'm going to do this and see if the delivery rate decreases or the hatchrate increases. Longer in transit would be ok if it resulted in more eggs hatching viable chicks. OR poults. lol

I once got a package shiped to mid west mom-machineable -- took 4 days, but the hatch rate was good.

ANyone else want to try this and see if service is better??
