Hi Everyone :) I have the following for your consideration:

AUCTION
12+ Birchen/Blue Birchen Marans
Bidding starts at $25
Shipping is an additional $15
Auction ends Monday 3/23 at midnight, EST.
Eggs to ship on Wednesday 3/25
Payment by paypal only, thanks!

I have a Birchen rooster over black, blue, and splash Birchen hens in this pen, so you could hatch out black or blue chicks. The group consists of birds from The Fancy Chick, as well as Anissa here on BYC. These are my foundation birds for this variety and I have set everything they've given me over the last couple of weeks and my incubators are full. They are giving me a nice 6-7 color egg, and fertility has been excellent. I will send one dozen plus extras. Happy bidding!

Up for auction, are 3 Sebastopol goose eggs. If I get another I will add it but not likely. They will be no more then 4 days old at time of ship. Sorry the pics are recent and they are a little beat up from breeding. Start at 20 and shipping is $15 ends Monday at 5:30pm PST

I shouldn't, but...$20. Lol.

If I'm not mistaken I think I won these :)

Auction #1 - 5+ Svart Hona eggs

Svart Hona is a VERY rare breed recently imported from it's home country, Sweden. It is a cousin to the more famous Ayam Cemani, but less gamey in appearance. In a perfect Svart Hona, everything on the bird is black - feathers, skin, eyes, meat and even bones. They are gorgeous small birds (rooster weigh about 4 lbs.) that shine green and purple in the sun. They are very difficult to photograph and do them justice. They are very hearty and lay about 160 cream colored eggs per year. Mine are laughing at this cold and still laying every day.

My trio is a GFF cockerel over 2 Ewe Crazy pullets. They have been laying for a little over 3 months now. They are not perfect, but very few of this breed are at this point. The cockerel has white showing through his earlobes and his comb is not quite as dark as I would like, but is still a very acceptable dark mulberry. The toes and and all but one toenail on all the birds are black. Pictures of my actual birds and 4 of the chicks that have hatched are posted below.

I have 5 eggs in hand, laid Sat., Sun. and today. I will add what they lay tomorrow.

The bidding starts at $75. Bids must be in whole dollar amounts. Shipping will be $15, double-boxed and USPS Priority Mail. If you would like them Express shipped, I can do that at an additional cost. PM me with your zipcode for an estimate. Last bid considered will be 10 p.m. ET Tue, 3/24. I will PM payment information to the winner at the end of the auction; payment to be made by PayPal no later than 12 p.m. ET (noon) Wed, 3/25 so that I can get them in the mail on Wednesday. Sorry, no shipments to AK, HI or VA. Shipping hatching eggs is always a gamble. I pack VERY well to maximize your chance of success, but I can not control how the USPS handles the box or how the eggs are incubated. I can not guarantee that all or any of the eggs will hatch. I do want you to be successful, so I will work with you to make sure you have a good chance to hatch some of these gorgeous birds, but NO GUARANTEES. Please keep me advised of their condition on arrival and how the hatch goes. If you do not hatch at least 2, save the unhatched eggs and send them back to me. I will send you another box of eggs for the cost of postage when available. If something should happen to my birds that makes getting fertile eggs from them impossible, the offer to replace the eggs is void. I will only replace them once. If you can not agree to these terms, please do not bid.

Auction #2 - 10+ Isbar eggs

RARE Swedish Isbars from 2 different breeding groups!

Group A is all original import line birds - I have a blue roo over 2 blue, 1 black and 1 splash hens. The roo is not related to the hens. My hatch rate here has been about 95% and the chicks have been healthy and vigorous, not showing the inbreeding issues that plagued this breed when it was first released by Greenfire Farms. Isbars are on the small end of the large fowl scale, but are excellent layers of medium to large green eggs. (That is a quarter in the picture below for size comparison.) I find they have the best feed conversion rate of any of my breeds.

Group B is 2 pullets hatched from my original line Isbars, 1 cockerel (was 2 until Sat. when I sold 1) hatched from my original line in with 2 new import line pullets and 1 new line cockerel directly from GFF. (Don't worry about the boy:girl ratio, there are more pullets in that pen, but they are not Isbars

I have 10 (6 group A, 4 group B) eggs collected 3/21-3/23. Excellent fertility on these. I will add what they lay tomorrow.
