if you want your child screaming their head off for hours on end, go get it..oh my god, i will never make that mistake again!! the best part is that its just formula with rice cereal in it. and they charge a ton for it..
Hmmm, I wonder why your child had that reaction? The person that told me about it has 10 wk old twins and they do great with it. Wyatt's already on Enfamil, so I thought it would be ok since it's the same brand. How old do they have to be for rice cereal?
Kelly, most pediatricians don't recommend introducing cereal until a baby is 4 - 6 months old, but I know a lot of people do it earlier. How old is Wyatt now? Is he still waking up to eat during the night?

that is the weird thing..i have given him cereal since he was 2 months old and he does fine. maybe its just the formula because i have to buy him the sensitivity kind of he gets bad gas. but oh man, that was an awful experience. they also sell the restful cereal as the acid reflux kind..its the same thing, different name..even though its the same brand.

He's 7.5 weeks old. He still eats every 3 hours, occasionally going 4. He did go 2 nights )not back to back) that he went 6-7 hours, but hasn't since then and we didn't do anything differently. I went ahead and bought the Restfull formula and mixed it 1/2 and 1/2 with the regular formula last night to start him off slow. It didn't seem to bother his belly, bu the didn't sleep any longer either.

If it makes you feel any better, Ethan is almost 5 months on (on Saturday) and he is still eating every 2-1/2 to 3 hours during the day. He must have a small tummy because he only eats 4 - 5 oz at a time, occasionally he'll eat as much as 6, BUT he doesn't spit up very much so I'm not complaining.
Yes, Wyatt sleeps in his own room. He eats 5 oz at a time...how much more can I give hiim at this age without overloading him?! He usually won't take much more than that anyways, although sometimes he'll take 6 oz.
