The new (human) baby thread...

My baby boy will be 6 months old tomorrow! He is now rolling tummy to back, back to tummy, and trying to lunge forward while on his tummy by getting up on his knees and elbows a little.

His babyhood is going by way too fast... it is depressing.

Edited to add... I found out this afternoon that his bottom two teeth have erupted!

Emery got three shots today with something like 23 different immunizations in them. I am so worried. The doctor made me feel like a bad mom if I did not get the shots and "protect" him from things he would be very unlikely to get anyway. Then I worry about if the immunizations are not hitting his immune system too hard and actually harming him. Plus his legs hurt and he has a slight fever.

I know what you mean though, I hate my babies having to get shots. Ethan's due for his next round, but I put it off as long as I can (as in, he'll go for his 6 month appointment the last week he is 6 months old, heehee.) He is scheduled to get a flu shot @ 6 months but I'm going to refuse it... since people with egg allergies can't get it and he has never been exposed to eggs, and shouldn't be until he is at least a year old... something just seems wrong with that picture to me.

Should it be called a Jumperoo or a Snoozeroo??

He bounces himself to sleep every time I put him in that thing. Took that last one a few minutes ago, he is still there (right beside me) and hasn't budged.

awwwwwww! he's too cute!

Arwyn is trying to swim the carpet again (backstroke this time) but still can't turn over. It's cute to watch, but you can see the frustration in his face.
He's due for some injections next week - no doubt we'll have a day of high temperatures and screaming the day after again.

Wyatt rolled over by himself for the first time! We found him on his belly in the crib! He'll be 3 months on Halloween. I feel like it's a little early for him to be rolling over yet, but I guess I can't stop him.

He doesn't have to get more shots until December.

both my friend and fiance called me a cruel mother for this one... not my fault a friend gave us her godson's costume from last year and it was cold here and the costume was warm.... I think Arwyn will behave as a teenager for fear of me sharing the photo with his friends

Awwww, that is so cute! He's your little pumpkin, how could you not share?

My older kids wanted me to buy a costume for Ethan but I didn't want to put a lot of money into one since, 1) we don't know if he'll be awake long enough to trick or treat, and 2) we don't know how the weather will be... will it be warm like it is now or will it be cold (the forecast says cold now). Well, I was in a thrift store and they had a cute little Winnie the Pooh costume that was new with tags for only $4... his size too! Of course I bought it, it was just meant to be. I'll get a pic of him when he wears it (if he will wear it!)

he'll wear it. because we demand photos! lol

I'm planning a tour of the supermarkets after halloween to buy their costumes and other halloween goodies cheaper for general Arwyn-wear

I bought Emery a little lion costume at Goodwill Thrift Store for 4.99 several weeks age. We went to my nieces birthday costume party, There were prizes for the best costumes. Emery won a $30 gift card for best infant costume. He looks like the lion in Wizard of Oz. So my 16 year old is going to be Dorothy for Halloween. I'll get pictures.
I really like the pumpkin costume for Arwyn
I was born on Sunday October 31st 19??. My nickname was always pumpkinhead Some people in the small town I grew up in thought pumpkin was my name.
