The new (human) baby thread...

I pee outside all the time. It helps if you drink a bunch of water, so you can keep up with their tiny bladders.

Also- make sure none of the neighbors are fixing their ACs.

HUH?! Did I read that right? I think I did. *Not to self: Do not eat ANY snow at Laree's place!*

Sorry, I tend to look through these things and get ideas for when my time eventually comes. I prefer he Parent's Choice, it works the best on the dog and the chickens.

Ok, now a question about formula. Since I'm pumping exclusively there have been a couple of times that I've had to supplement little man with a little of formula. I have a sample can of powdered Enfamil Premium but he doesn't seem to like it at all ( and I hate having to give him any, but maintaining a good milk supply when he hardly lets me put him down is really hard!

Anyway, I think I'm going to get some ready to feed formula because as little as I'm using it is crazy for me to keep opening up cans of powder... I won't use it all before the month is up and will have to throw it out. What has everyone's experience been with the different formula brands? What has been best tolerated... especially by babies who are used to (and prefer) breast milk?

I don't have a new baby, and I'm not expecting, my youngest will be 2 in July - but I would like to comment on the formula, if that's OK?

I always used Similac. I liked it in the ready to feed containers - not powder or tin cans.

My last 3 babies were breastfed 98% of the time, but I kept ready to feed formula on hand just in case I hadn't left enough pumped milk at home for Daddy or on the rare occasion that grandma was sitting.

go for parents choice sensitive. seriously. my little guy has been so sensitive to EVERYTHING..gassy, crying, fussy..but this stuff works like a miracle. its a bit more than regular formula but it works really well.

DH is going to Walmart tomorrow... I'll get him to pick some up. Thanks!

How big is your little man now? Mine is over 12 lbs (I weighed him last week and he was 12.4) is wearing size 2 diapers, and is outgrowing his size 3-6 month clothes.
