Peyton and Carly are just beautiful little baby girls. Wow, Carly was a TINY thing... I can't imagine, my smallest was 8 lbs 8 oz and my biggest was 9 lbs 15 oz!!

Thanks!!! Yes she was ittty bitty.. I was smaller than her at 6lb 6oz when I was born. So it was neat to see how tiny I actually was. But I was 21.5 inches. So I was a gangly looking thing I imagine..

Hi all!! I have been on BYC only for a month or so but I have a little one so I wanted to post on here & say hi to everyone! I am a mother to 3 amazing boys, my oldest is fixing to be 5, our middle guy just turned 2, & the newest little man is 7 1/2 months old... So introducing lil Thomas born Feb 4, 2011 weighing in at 9lbs 2 oz & 21 3/4 inches long!!

Hi everybody!

I've been dragging my feet getting over here. Just couldn't pull myself away from the expectant thread. Anyway, I had my daughter (our first child) on August 27th at 11:30am and she was 6lb 15oz and 18 3/4" long.. An itty bitty thing!

We named her Carly Sharlene... Sharlene was my deceased mothers' middle name!

OMGosh!! Carly is beautiful! I love that our babies share birthdates! Go 8/27! (BTW so jealous you have a girl! lol...)​

welcome to this thread ladies! no offense, but not much gets posted over here in comparison to the expecting thread. have to say I was a little diappointed in this thread when I had Shane in May. Here's a pic of my big boy..looks like some of you have newborns that are taller than my little man! I am afraid he will be walking on his own before he can use his walker cause he is so short!

Glad to see you all on this side! Hope you all enjoy your babes and cherish every moment, it goes by so fast.
It is hard to believe that Shane is 5 months old this week, talking up a storm (baby talk) and very active, always wanting to be on the go. He has cut out a few naps from his day and should be rolling over any day now. We are a little slow on the rolling over cause he was really colicky and still hates his tummy time, and with his reflux, putting him on his back leads to major spit up! I can't wait for the spit up to go away! I call the spit up my new fashion accessory cause I am always wearing it!

Peyton had her first pediatric check up today since having left the hosptial. She is now 7lbs 7 ozs at 10 days old. She was 6lbs 10 ozs before leaving the hospital, so she had lost weight from her birth weight of 7.4 - so I'm super glad to know she's gained it back.

Kind of kills me that she's already 10 days old! September was dragging until September 19, and then it flew by!
