The new (human) baby thread...

I keep telling Arwyn that he needs to catch up with the food but nope, still just gummies at rice cakes and refuses most things

after 5 kids it finally happened to me

my baby has his day and night time feeding mixed up!!!! He doesn't eat well during the day because there is too much fun stuff going on. He gets up 3 times a night to eat. I am tired! I tried the dark room and he looks at the cool shadow on the wall

I don't do cry it out....guess I need more coffee.

Are you nursing? If so, maybe you need less caffeine... so the baby isn't wired.

to you, Ethan has been waking up during the night quite a bit now that he is cutting 4 more teeth. I'm with you, I need uninterrupted sleep!

I gave up and took Arwyn into the bed with me last night... well at least HE slept! lol
I woke every few minutes afraid I'd have rolled on him or something.

right now he's being cuddled by his daddy and snoring loudly

We bought a king sized bed when we had our 3rd baby. All our kids ended up sleeping with us when they were babies, so with a big bed, we can finally be comfortable!

I love the stage when the baby finally latches on consistantly and I can start nursing in bed at night instead of getting up. I wake up just enough to switch sides, help Jacob get latched on and we both go back to sleep. I used to work for a lactation consultant and she told me about some sleep research done - mothers and babies who sleep together share a sleep cycle. When you're in deep sleep, so's the baby. When you're in light sleep, so's the baby. Since baby's wake when they're in light sleep, they're waking you when you're in light sleep, too, so they never wake you from a deep sleep which makes night feedings so much less miserable. I love co-sleeping.

his cot is about 8 inches from the bed anyway, so it can't be that much different for him. I just didn't have the energy last night to keep fishing him in and out of the cot.

I had to dig deep for this thread....LOL

Here is a new picture of Blake....taken today. He was 7 months old on March 11th. He is still a little guy and doesn't fill out his 3-6 month clothes very well and fell off the charts, but he is sooo little and sweet! The second piture was taken at 6 months.

Blake and Olivia are adorable! I can't believe how tiny Blake is! Wyatt is 7.5 months old and has almost outgrown his 6-9 month clothes!
