The New Oklahoma Auction/Swap List

Can anyone tell me about the Blanchard, OK sale? I heard the next one is March 10. We're about a 2 hour drive and just wondering if it was worth going! Thanks!

You are correct. The FFA is using their building this weekend so there will not be an auction at Blanchard until the 2nd Saturday in March, March 10.

The Newcastle auction will also be affected by FFA activities in March and will only have an auction on the 3rd Saturday (not the 1st Saturday as they normally do), so the only March auction at Newcastle will be March 17

Thank you for your replies!
Is there usually a decent selection at this sale? My husband is looking for a few young game hens (bug eaters for our yard), would these likely be available at this sale? Also, any guineas?

The sale will have plenty of games usually. I plan on bringing a few guineas & I am sure others will bring some as well. Just a heads up, they start the sell with alot of misc junk. It is usually 7 before any chicks or eggs hit the auction table. Birds normally don't sale until after the eggs & chicks. The junk will get mixed in with the birds & linger into the morning. Bring cages for any birds you hope to buy or you can bid on cages at the sale. The sale will go often go past midnight, and with there not being a sale the next 2 weeks plus hatching season I expect the sale to go WAY late... Hope to see you there!

This is great! Thank you!!

One more quick question....what is the average a decent young game hen will go for? We've never been to anything like this and don't know what to expect!
