The pizza part sounds good, not so sure about the 4:30am, lol. It took 2 cappuccinos to keep me awake until midnight and I was in bed by 12:10.

Sounds like you and DH had a fab time. I'm afraid I didn't actually see midnight, was nodding off so went to bed at 10.15pm. Had to be up and out this morning to do Harry horse and didn't want to sleep in if I stayed up later than usual.
Think I heard the neighbours fireworks in my sleep but then again I may have been dreaming :gig

Kim, how is Harry doing? Do you have a recent picture of him?
 
Whoa, I just realized it's 9:00 already. Need to go back out to check on the girls. I don't know what triggered it but 2 of the most dominant ones got into a battle royal first thing this morning. Not just a bit of pecking, these girls were flying up flinging themselves at each other, feathers were flying, the rest of the flock was running to get out of their way. I ran into the run to break it up (probably not the smartest thing to do), scattered some treats in various places of the run and things quieted down.

Just want to double check they're still quiet. Crazy ladies, never been a problem before.
 
He's good thanks Debby this is from a couple of days ago when I put his brand spanking new rug on. Got some vouchers for Christmas so was straight to the horse shop :oops:

Oh no they can be crazy can't they!! I had that with my little cross frizzle pullet a few weeks ago. I'm not sure why but she got a bee in her bonnet and everyone was in her way while she was on the war path!! She was even wanting to take the dog on from the other side of the run :/
She's just that little bit bigger than my little polish so not an even match so no one fought back, they all just got out of her way. She's been ok since although she is the head bird of them all. Not sure how it will go down in the spring when I get a new roo, don't think she will be a happy bird for a while :(
 
Happy New Year? Got up to the phone ringing at 6:30 am, and the temperature was a balmy 2 below zero. Tam was on her way home from work and broke down. She was stuck on the side of the road and needed us to come get her. By the time we got dressed, got the ice scraped off the windshield, and drove to where she was stranded she was freezing cold. Dropped her off at her house and Ken and Kenny are going to see about her car when it warms up a bit.

2016, don't you dare continue the way you started! Poor kid!
 
My son ended up having surgery last night. It was out patient so he is home now.
I told him that was a crappy way to start the year.
I think the drugs were making his slappy, He said it was a great way to end the year and now the year can start without any problems.
We will see if he still feels that way when he wakes up.
