The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

i raised hookbills for over 35 years, my breeder birds were treated like royalty , their cages were kept clean, they were fed quality bird food and they got veggies everyday, i even went out and picked wild seeds for them(neighbors thought i was the crazy lady) i am but thats beside the point:gig i raised birds because i loved the birds. i always checked out the people who bought my babies and if i didn't get a good feeling, i didn't sell to that person, when i had to sell my birds because husband wanted to go south for the winters it just about killed me but i found them all good homes. it wasn't for the money, thats for sure, i spent more than i made:idunno
Most good breeders don't make $. But it does show that you truly care about the animal.

How bad is it going to hit you there? My sister and her family are in Wilmington NC and my niece said she had to evacuate as she’s close to the ocean.
They were saying direct hit for us with 1-2 feet of rain, but the forecast now has the storm swerving around the state. I expect winds and rain, but nothing catastrophic.
