The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Hey I dun good today. Grocery store had Baskin Robbins for 99 cents a pint............ I picked up my favorite flavor, gazed at it lovingly, even smelled the carton- darn couldn't smell a thing. Then put in back and walked away. I must be a woman of steely resolve!!

Had thought about saving some for my son who will be coming soon. BUT, it's not my first rodeo so I woman-ed up

He well remembers when I snatched the tiny snickers bar from his Lunchable before he got to see it. I told him stuff is goes on a conveyor belt and it probably fell off. He said YOU ATE IT!.*

* He didn't even like candy bars.
OHMYGAWD Diva are you my long lost sister? :lau:gig

Yep, I complained to them that the last time I was in alot of pain...so they took it a little easier on me this time around. I expect to be in some pain but it's almost ridiculous the amount and it's not even where one would think it would be...my knee is the trouble spot and it kinda has me worried, evidently the lack of exercise has made the tendons stop working as they should, hopefully the exercises will make them return to normal but the prognosis isn't very encouraging. Plus, my gluteus maximus on the right side is not responding as they had hoped and is also contributing to the knee tendons to reacting or not reacting the way they should.
hoping it gets easier as you continue heal, guess thats why they try to get you moving as soon as they can

Yep, another thing is this was a very complicated fracture. It didn't break in a place that usually occurs and it wasn't a clean break, it has some pretty jagged edges...made it harder to line up and doesn't heal as quickly as a clean break.

before i leave tell me again, how did you break it, don't remember how you did it

This last time, I was on my way to see the doc so he could release me to go back to work. I was walking along normally in the living room headed out the door to go.....and snap!
