Just one large one so far Chris. I'm sure there is more to come. It's been raining since yesterday afternoon and that always makes me feel like sleeping.

I'm fine thanks - sun's shining, rugby and cricket is on today, so I'm well sorted! Any weather makes me feel like sleeping

No i haven't either, nor Spook for that matter. Did see BBQ last week - i seem to recall a member asking if its OK to give deli meat as a treat to their chickens. BBQ said something like "only if its on rye with mustard and pickles" - good, but a bit tame for him. Actually, on the same thread I seemed to have gotten myself into a little hot water if i recall - guess we don't all share the same SOH - never mind.

Yep, i forgot about the possibilities of power cuts - just have to keep my fingers crossed on that one! I am trying to convince DW that we should install an inverter system to provide power all the time - she's at work all day so it doesn't bother her too much. A bit more work and i should have cracked it though (and what she doesn't know is that i will then get an incubator and hatch even more chicks

My lips are sealed on the incubator idea. I would think the constant availability of power to be important anyway, or maybe I'm a spoiled American that's just used to always having it. I hate it when our power goes out. For one thing, we're on a well that requires it to pump the water...no electricity, no water. And besides that, I can't make coffee. And that's just not acceptable, lol!

So you've been getting things riled up with some snappy repartee? And I missed it?
 
Yeah, no power is pants. When the rains come it will be so much worse! As for my secret being safe with you- the jury is sure out on that one - pedicure - remember?

If i remember rightly, it was all a bit bizarre. The OP responded with a bit of humour, then i joined in, but then it all went south (I think) - i was at a bit of a loss to be honest (very rare, as you know) but ho-hum. The OPs last question to me was "are you sure you are ok?" -
