Haha! Missed that game Kim, but at least i will be awake for the cricket matches (not easy for most people - staying awake when cricket's on)

Congrats on your hatch so far. BTW I'm thinking of getting the Eco 20 when i come home in the summer - what are you thoughts on that compared to the fancier more expensive version?

Kim, that's great on the 15 out of 16! About 2 weeks left to go right? Hope you get a beautiful boy!

I don't mind 20/20 cricket but can't stand test cricket

I've not had the Eco octagon but have read good things about it ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/579490/the-brinsea-octagon-20-eco-thread-hatches-etc-pics

I would just say get a hygrometer to go in it as it doesn't come with one.

Thanks Kim, I've read quite a few posts there and also got some good advice from WV - dunno why, i thought that you used one (I'm going crackers!).

T-20 is on as we speak. If S Africa beat the Windies later today, then we will be through to the semi finals!

Awww thanks Chris. I believe Kim has the 20 Advance with the pump, like I have.

Post some chicky pics when they hatch Kim!

You are very welcome WV. Actually, this afternoon I've decided to forget the incubator plot altogether and go for getting a MHP cobbled together and buy day old chicks - seems like less hassle and the chicks will already be vaccinated which is a huge bonus (here in Kenya, at least). That could well mean my alpha hen and more importantly only broody will have to bite the bullet - oh well...
