The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Blooie is far away. The Princess is the scary one. By the way when is this menopause thing supposed to quit ?

I dare say I am nearing this "stage"...... Pray for my hubby, would ya? He is a fine man.

Oh my, what did I start? My mother in law ( a wonderful lady who I really liked) became a harridan while in menopause. The Princess not so much. I sort of regard myself as really supportive in my relationship. Much like Chris what I sometimes type or say is irony and satire. Early on I told the Princess, "Until and unless I ever say 'I love you', take everything I say with a grain of salt or you will get your feelings hurt." Just the way it is. My goal in life is not to offend people, but in all honesty sometimes I do. Sorry for any problems I may have caused with an 'off the cuff' comment.

The problem with menopausal women is that they have spent all those years putting up with men who have problem hormones of their own, and the lack of sleep, etc associated with "the change" leaves the ladies little patience for the foolishness.

And after a good night's sleep, she can see it, too

*sigh* You kinda know you've gotten to that point when your spouse tells you're hot - and then says, "go take a cold shower or something!"

Men have problem hormones ? Maybe I got lucky.

After all these years the Princess is still dealing with hot flashes. Doesn't seem fair. When I tell her she's hot, I am not talking about body temperature.

Course we have hormones! It's just we use them all up by the time we are 20 Lol

The point that I was trying to make and obviously it got lost on you numbskull men is this:
Please to not talk badly about your wives on a public forum.

Maybe you did warn her years ago that you were a 'Teaser' but that was before the internet.
Seriously, how would the woman you love feel about being teased on a public forum about menopausal symptoms. especially if she is not yet there or beyond it?
It is not teasing if it hurts her feelings, it is bullying.
The excuse "I am only teasing" is not an aplology.
It is a lame excuse.

Now if you dare, go apologise to your wives. -go ahead explain it to her-

They are not on here talking about your 'short' comings, impotance, or lack endurane.
treat them with the respect you expect to be treated with.

Now enough of this.

Ta Da! Honey's, I'm home!!!!!!

Whew, the pieces are starting to fall together...got moved, got the internet and got a chair. Life is good(er)
