Good morning, and Happy Easter to all of you!
Debby, I'm so glad it went well yesterday - but not one bit surprised! And you gained a good employee, so that worked out well! Did they get the gas leak fixed in time? You may have mentioned that but I can't remember.
Sunflour, that's so cool! Love the little dot with the teeny egg!
Teila, it's all about the progress, and it looks like they're really making a lot!
Gotta get my ham prepped and ready for today. The whole crew is coming for dinner, but we have to have it early.....Tam has to work at 6 tonight and she tries to get a nap in before she goes........which translates to "I'll just get this entryway painted real quick before I have to shower." She redid her blue counter-tops and they look fantastic. She hated that long expanse of blue in the kitchen. Me, everything in my kitchen is blue. But even I wouldn't like that much "extended" blue. I started collecting Temp-tations Floral Lace kitchen ware some time ago. Now everything matches, from my potholders and dishes to my pans and knives. It's been a dream of mine after so many years of mismatched hand-me-downs and yard sales.
If your plans for today are for a big family get-together, make it count. If you are more the "sit home quietly and reflect" kind of Easter celebrant, enjoy the peace. And if, like Tam and Debby, your day will be a busy one, take a moment and reflect. Love you all ~
Thanks....it's part of my Temp-tations set. I have blue and white in my kitchen. Wish I could paint the walls in here, especially after seeing how fresh Tam's looks, but alas - this old mobile home paneling can't even be really cleaned, let alone painted decently. We briefly entertained the idea of putting up drywall, but fortunately that urge passed. Now you got my curiosity up, will have to crack mine to see what's inside
Love the blue white plate - I collect blue and white plates, figurines, etc.

So did you crack the pee-wee egg yet?
I dunno what I did, DMC, but thanks and I'm glad!![]()
I didn't know you could't paint that type of paneling... but my mom wanted to paint her kitchen, but dad wouldn't let her....so she bought contact adhesive paper and covered her paneling between the cabinets and workspace. It lasted decades. Just a thought if ya want to try it.Thanks....it's part of my Temp-tations set. I have blue and white in my kitchen. I had to look that one upHey Sour, on another thread I saw some folks had a badge that said "Platnium". How come you and I don't have that? We were originals, I thought.![]()
