Telia, hope you get your work done - I'll have some unexpected time off from work but no energy to catch up on all the things I have been procrastinating.


Personally this is a bad time for me to make the change.....Friday nite I got sick again, high fever and pleuritic chest pain.   Have been ill off and on for nearly a month and after 3 rounds of antibiotics felt well for about a week.    I did go to see a doctor yesterday and I have Pneumonia - had a shot (OMG - and I'm such a wimp when it comes to injections) and have to go in today and tomorrow for 2 more shots - but he also gave me a different oral antibiotic, high dose Ibuprofen and a great cough med that really helps with the pain.  Guess I'll be seeing a lung specialist soon to find out why this keeps returning.     Any way, all I feel like doing is watching TV, checking out the forums and laying in bed too much.  ** so, guess I'll join the herd forum and explore**.

I am worried about Blooie and her family crisis and Debby with her long work hours and aching feet - and doubt they will have time and mental energy to explore the new format for awhile :( .

Good grief Sunflour!! I hope you feel better soon and I hope you will see a lung specialist. I don't like change either. I should check out the home page more often so I know what's going on.

You take care of yourself, rest and lots of green tea. I haven't had pneumonia but I imagine it's quite horrible. I take shot daily for diabetes, but it doesn't stop me from cringing at other shots.

I haven't decided if I'm joining the other site. I will have to check out the chicken section. To me BYH seems like a an old ghost town, I swear I got hit by a tumbleweed last time I tried looking at it. Maybe more people will liven it up, and they will open multiple saloons like this site has to contain the rowdy characters.

Got my second shot and it was not bad, but the MA who gave me the first two painless shots will be off, so the doctor will be giving me one tomorrow -

. And everyone knows doctors can only give orders and do not know how to give a shot :) The doc on duty today wants me to come DAILY for 5-7 days for shots
