Good morning!

OHLD, I love cheese curds (and cheese in any form). That would be interesting to see them made. Haven't been to a fair in a long time but always enjoyed seeing the 4H animals.

J, keep us posted on Pickle, sending all the best. It would be fun to see a photo of Squeak sleeping in a hammock. Is it anything like this?

Having Sunday off was so nice. I woke up at the usual early time, drank 1/2 a cup of coffee then went back to bed for another 4 hours, lol. Actually got errands and 2 loads of laundry done in one day. Nice!

Back to work today but it will be a short week. Friday there are several high schools converging on the course for their annual cross-country meet and the course is closed to anyone else. Hope the kids this year are better behaved than last (what a group of rowdies).

Unfortunately Pickle died overnight. From my research yesterday I discovered he must have a ruptured air sac that was leaking into his crop, turning it into a balloon. He hardly ate yesterday and his crop started to fill with fluid. Poor little guy.

Miss Squeak is testing out her wings but is very clumsy and managed to bump into something and now has a bald patch on her forehead! I'll try and get a photo of her on her hammock.

Glad you enjoyed your day off Debby and made the most of your day (ie Iots of sleep)! Good luck for Friday - hopefully the kids will behave themselves.
