They're beautiful. Seriously good-looking cats.My kittiesView attachment 1136771
And given their size, likely not all that cheap to feed!I adopted Tyra privately and got her for free. They cost a lot to buy from a breeder.
She does seem a bit "greedy" always wanting kibble and doing her begging thing, but she's not actually that big underneath her fur. Her feet are huge and she looks boofy because of the fur, but she's not that big. Bigger than my other girls, but not gigantic. (My other cat I used to have was huge, he weighed a ton.)And given their size, likely not all that cheap to feed!
I'll look at cat photos any day of the week, as many as you care to share!
Sorry about your rowdy crowd in the bar Debby. Smoked brisket sandwich sounds delicious! Happy early birthday!
We are taking the kids to the zoo today. Hopefully there won't be too many showers of rain. I'll feed the cockatiels just before we go and they all seem to be nibbling at food so they should last until we get back. I'm having to use chicken food as bedding for them. They poop so much that I can't just use paper towels and I found one nibbling on the pine shavings I did have them on, but the pellets are working well.
I have three button quail chicks hatched. One is still in the incubator drying off so haven't had a good look at it yet but the other two are unusual colours, a caramel and an ivory which is a combo of the silver and cinnamon. The first two chicks were sitting right back on their hocks/backsides but I put a fluffy washcloth in for them and made a little cave out of it so they would stand up tall and push up into it like they would into a mothers feathers. Hopefully that'll help their little legs.
Thanks. I picked the parents myself. They're beautiful. Seriously good-looking cats.
