While it is Thursday here, for me it is my Friday because I have tomorrow off work so that we can take Syba back to the big smoke for his follow up ‘stable’ blood test and hopefully some good news about his levels. He is doing really well and we are optimistic.

I knew she would be the first. Honestly thought she laid today, but could not find an egg. Bet she lays in the next 2 days :fl. She is also not standing down to the elders, so likely my Debby will be like her names sake and soon be #1 among all :D
 
@sunflour here's something that I've really enjoyed about the Wellie eggs...each one she lays is different. Some days there will be one with lots of speckles and other days just a few or some speckles only going around the diameter of the shell, etc.

You'll see pretty soon for yourself!

P.S. Respect my elders yes, but stand down to them? Nope. :cool:

I just took a photo of my Wellie's last several eggs (included is her 1st egg too, the little one at the top)...see what I mean about them all being different? That big ol' whopper is from today, poor girl.
