Oooohhhh okay. Sorry. I thought you meant the clinics they have there and at Petco and Petsmart. Those are cheap too but it's always a zoo and Gator wouldn't do well with all the other dogs and animals. As for giving them myself, I don't know how and I think I'd be scared to try. Plus I like getting them checked up/looked at. We only go once a year so it's not bad. But that said, I might try one of the clinic things for the cat because she's indoors anyway

@bruceha2000 your (or your DD's) yellow boy is so handsome! I love yellow cats We have 3 here at home (Opie, Bam Bam & Pip) and DH has 3 at the golf course he takes care of. There's no lacking for fur around here either, lol.

@Teila scrambled eggs are good food! Save yourself 1st!

@rjohns39 what a nice holiday treat to the folks in PR! Those flat rate boxes from the P.O. are great, they have saved me a lot in shipping over the years.

@DigMyChicks hope your 2 do well at the vet's next week.

I overate at dinner (son took me to Texas Roadhouse) and didn't even take home leftovers . And yet about an hour later managed to eat a pint of Baskin -Robbins ice cream.

Good morning Debby! How’s the weather your way? It sounds
like we are supposed to get miserably cold next week. I know it’s time and we’ve been spoiled but ugh! Youngest son is excited as he bought himself a fish house and can’t wait to put it out.

I've given up on all cat vaccines except the legally required rabies which must be done at the vet. Our cats NEVER go outside, there is no way any outside cat can get nose to nose with them through a screen (unless it brings a trampoline) and the only cat that ever comes around lives across the road. He doesn't come up to the house but goes around it and the barn. The only place they could get one of the nasty diseases is AT the vet because that is the only place they ever go.

Then there is heartworm. The only way an animal in Vermont is going to get heartworm is if it gets bit by a mosquito in warmer climates.

No electricity. They're learning to cook like we did in the 18th century.

We're going to be getting some nasty cold weather here too. I just looked at the forecast and Saturday will be the worst with a high of 3* and a low of -12* (and that's without any windchill taken into account).

We're supposed to go to my brother's house in Cheyenne Saturday but if we get this cold and predicted snow on Thursday & Friday, don't know that will happen. Have to wait and see what happens. We might be trapped in the house with all these cookies
