Good morning Debby and all! How cute!
Only 3 years?? Geez, I ASSUMED it was sorta lifetime if you didn't get it until you were 60.
Shoot, yesterday is a lifetime for me! Good morning, gang! Up early and ready to start the day. Um, yeah. Got my oranges done yesterday so it's nice to be able to just open the top and grab a pre-peeled half, and I think I'll make some scrambled (store bought) eggs and a little slice of ham, and wash it down with a Coke. Let's see if that sets Mr. Fitbit into a frenzy!
Tell us more about your processIt's a process I do, Debby, and I can have a bowlful of oranges prepped in less time than it takes to actually peel one. That's a fact - Ken and I tested it once. He peeled, I did it my way. I had 6 oranges done and in their little bowl before he finished peeling. This time of year, oranges are such a bonus extra snack since it's cold and flu season. I don't know if all the hype about extra vitamin C is myth or fact - wish experts could make up their minds - but I do know that a bite of sunshine is awfully nice. But I can't eat a whole orange anyway. I might feel like an orange for a quick energy boost, but immediately knowing that I'd have to stand there and peel one, then try to peel off as much of that white membrane as I can dampens that craving real quick. Having a bowl of pre-prepped orange halves in the fridge makes it so easy - grab the bowl, take out half an orange, and enjoy it.
