More tax money in drugs than industrial products, wouldn't want to lose high THC acreage

Not sure why they would turn down industrial hemp other than CA is (oddly) NOT one of the states with university linked research hemp growing. Maybe they are waiting for HR 3530 to pass. It is apparently not exactly fast tracked. Introduced July 28, 2017:

Done. Just a couple of areas of concern but they removed 4 and sent them off for biopsy. Everything else looked “okay”, in their words. Hi Michelle, that's some ugly cold you have (and keep having). Am I remembering right that you have some eggs incubating?

eta: Forgot to mention...I read on BYC yesterday someone gave a wobbly chick some cannabis oil (?) and it seemed to help. Never would have thought to try that one.

Yup. I had one egg dancing around on Saturday. Did a water test yesterday and had 2 slightly moving. Today, nadamente.

A local farmer was trying to get permission to grow Hemp here. The County denied the permit. It is odd because now Farmers can grow marijuana here under the new law recently passed.

Hemp is good for a lot of industrial purposes

Parts of southern Ontario grow tobacco. In the early 90s a lot of the farmers wanted to switch to hemp, but the government wouldn't allow it. Pot is supposed to be legalized federally in July, so maybe they'll ease up on those regulations, if they haven't already.

Made it home just in time. Winds right now at sustained at 40, gusting to 60 but I think some gusts have been higher than that. The snow is really coming down - er, made that sideways. I can’t see our next door neighbor’s house or the house that used to be Kenny’s across the street. And our “self pruning” willows are visciously self-pruning. Pulling the blankies up over my head and taking a nap!

Here in Aus, Hemp Oil was legalised in 2017; however CBD Oil is prohibited.

It is legal to use the seed of the Hemp plant to produce Hemp foods such as Hemp Oil out of it. But it is currently prohibited in Australia to use the flower, leaves and stalk for the production of CBD Oil which is what I believe is used for chronic pain.

Knee is much better today and I am nearly walking normally I will leave the knee sock on for a couple more days just for support.

TC Iris is now a Cat 2 but some predictions now have her just skirting the coast before heading out to sea and not actually crossing which would be a great outcome

Back to work after 4 days off; release was yesterday and as per usual, they broke something!

Thanks. I'm good. Tired, and planned to nap. But branches keep hitting the side of the trailer, the wind is whistling, and the kids are out driving in this, so the eyes wouldn't cooperate. Just a trip to the store for them, but this afternoon any trip isn't an easy one So I'm awake.

The wind was so bad that the north wall of the trailer was literally smacking against the headboard of the bed. Wording things delicately, Ken listened to it for a minute and then said, "Somebody's having an awfully good time in there, and it ain't me."
