Probably! But still... $2.99. Cost me $45.79 to almost fill up. 15.25 gallons. My tank is 17 gallons. The gas light wasn't on yet. I think I had like less than a quarter (1/4) tank. But I remember when I used to be able to fill it up for like 30 bucks
Try driving a 4x4 truck! $30 bucks is an appetizer!

Dang! I bet! We also have a Suburban (well, it's my brother's but we used to have one) and a 2004 Escalade (the extended suburban size version) and both of those just eat gas. I'm lucky that the Subaru gets great gas mileage cause the tank is quite large. My brother also has a Prius he raves about aha

$2.99?! I'd love to see those kinds of prices. We're at $1.30 a litre.

Now... guess how big a litre is....

If you guessed a quart, you'd be right.

OMG! That's ridiculous!! $2.99 seems high to me cause I remember when or was like $2 or less :P

But some places are like $4

Yep. We drove a huge old '64 Pontiac Catalina and & fill ups were around $3.00 to $4.00, depending on how low the tank was.

Edited: But you have to also realize that everything was less back then......including pay checks. I earned $.25 cents an hour babysitting.
