The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning, IM! It's going pretty good here. Day dreaming about gardening when it's 5 whole degrees out :p Of course it was 60° on Saturday. All the trees are confused. Over 2/3rds through calving season and it's been great weather-wise.

How are you doing? I've been reading about your planting adventures with great envy!

You still calving Meg? How many do you have now?

I with you on the planting envy...it would be great to play in the dirt.

Doing good thanks! Maybe you'll get an early Spring, but I'll be envious of you once summer arrives. Our weather has been very mild but we had a freeze warning this morning and again tomorrow, prediction is for mid 70s next weekend again before we get another chill. I think the whole country is confused!

So great, wouldn't it? Hoping to start some early seedlings, but I always say that. My aunt (about 4hrs away) and my unlce (in Alaska) and I made an agreement to plant sunflowers every year and whoever had the biggest sunflower, we had to make a trip to their house. This was after Mom, as sunflowers were her favorite.

Still calving, but getting close to being done. We've got 51 on the ground and 22 to go. I think they're waiting for it to get really cold. It seems like they start popping out left and right during cold snaps

Haha, I think you're right! Mother nature is losing her marbs. Well, if we can believe the groundhog than we should be good. I read the other day that he's about 37% accurate :D

I love sunflowers too. That was one of the best parts about growing up in Kansas...we'd see huge fields of them. So pretty!

Good luck with the rest of the calving!
