On the pressure cooker front, they are much safer today... the emergency relief plug is what Nancy was referring to. Mine have both the bobber and gauge, so I can see what the pressure is. The key is to turn the fire down once it's up to pressure.

DMC I hope they have better luck soon. I'd like to get a well put in here near the barn.

Hi Bob! Thanks! We wanted it up by the house so we could put the tank in the basement but that didn’t work out so now they’re trying by the barn which is close to the old one. Hubby is getting a little nervous.
