but he’s on the boat atm. Not sure when he’s coming back but it can wait. It’s just some cereal that I went to eat and thankfully realized before I opened it that it’s expired!!! But like…. Way expired. March 2023. 
I checked my other one (different flavor but same brand etc.) and it is March 2024 so I THINK somebody likely just got mixed up but still sucks.
I wonder if @TropicalBabies is okay. Idk if they’re on that island but I’m pretty sure they’re in Hawaii?
I gotta go to the store and return something but not today. I’m gonna wait and see if my dad can drive me because I’m not going to pay $20-$30 to get less than $5 back.
That’s terrible! I’ve bought a couple other expired things before by accident like expired sausage and an expired frozen treat thing (this one I’m not 100% sure because I couldn’t really decipher the date) so I might need to start checking dates too! But I guess I’m too trusting or something and never think it could be expired!An old friend of mine had a job where she traveled to various grocery stores checking food expiration dates. She always said the worst offenders were the managers of the meat departments, they were bad about leaving expired meat products out for customers. Or worse, re-labeling the meat with a new date.
Hearing her stories taught me to check dates (especially meat ones).
