the +*OFFICIAL*+ German Shepherd thread :D

Thank you, your dogs are gorgeous too! Poor Logan bear, he was in the vet's office everyday for a week when I first got him. Fleas and worms so bad he was anemic, then it was Parvo that I treated at home with 2 daily shots from the vet for the vomiting, and then he stole some sleeping pills off a high shelf and tried to OD on them 1 day after recovering from the Parvo, and then at a year old it became apparent that he had early onset of HD and he'll need surgery on his right hip first, followed by the left at some point. The left isn't as bad as the right.

We're supposed to keep him on the thin side so that he doesn't carry around extra weight... and he cooperates by being an especially picky eater. I have to cook for him to get him to eat.

So, he's very high maintenance. Ricca is plenty healthy, but she's crazy. It's neat how they're the same breed but completely different dogs all together.

I was looking for Singe yesterday and couldn't find him. I happened to glance out the bathroom window and this is what I saw....

he likes to sit on the picnic table. His favorite place in the yard. My friend says he is "surveying his kingdom" His favorite thing is to spy on the lady next door (sometimes she bring him food!)
