Alabama has no travel bans, so I can leave Florida without a problem. Florida has a travel ban. There are road blocks coming into Florida. Those from 4 states (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Louisiana) have the choice to leave, or go into mandatory 14 day self quarantine. Temperatures are taken, before you may enter Florida. Anyone with a fever must self-quarantine for 14 days. I may see about a back road. The place I'm going, half of the property is in Florida, and the other half is in Alabama. They chose an Alabama address due to taxes being lower there.

Not the first time I've known someone with split property, but normally it's split between two counties, not two states.

Like we have a private road but if it snows they plow it .. This was built by the old postmaster

There are farms on the border between Northern Ireland (which is part of the UK, using Sterling) and Ireland (Eire, a separate country, using the Euro) which have been notorious for smuggling and sucklike, more or less since the border existed. I got woke up, so I sneaked a peek at the chickens. The hen is laying on the nest in the corner, chick under her. Every chicken in that coop is laying on the ground, huddled close, surrounding her, and the chick. Not one chicken is on the roost tonight.
