Welcome to Old Folks Home. Does your parrot talk? A friend of mine had one that visiting friends couldn't tell what it was saying while I was ROFL. It was screaming her husband's name.. "John! John!! JOHN!!!" Smart birds.

(As an aside: I got all excited thinking it was Bama Dude posting. Anybody know whatever happened to him?)

I had a whole slew of keloid bumps and minor skin growths on my nose. A competent esthetician can burn them off and leave no scar.

Love the story about the beard on nose graft. My uncle had a skin cancer removed from the top of his bald head. They grafted groin tissue up there and, yes, he sprouted a patch of pubes!

Very sunny here today. Hummingbirds at the feeder. Roses blooming despite the late frost. Grass is growing and getting shaggy. It's a little bit of decidedly all right sitting on the back patio enjoying it all. Knees are getting creaky and dysfunctional, but being outside and doing reminds me I'm still alive and being somewhat productive. Sure beats the alternative!

Bama Dude was expelled for his sense of humor, then tried signing up as someone else but couldn't let go of his speedo comments. He was dumped again. I think his wife wrote in and apologized about him.

My parrot talks all day he has a huge huge vocabulary and we say he is actually a person reincarnated because he uses his words in context for the most part.. except when you give him any squash. he calls it the sh word and insists that is what it is.

As for the riots- I wont discuss politics on a chicken board. I do not have a popular opinion where Im at Yankee livin in a red red state. Im not going to mix it up with my chicken speak.

Yeah hiring smart people who are qualified to do the job somehow seems to work out better than the alternative.

You got me! Far as I'm concerned they should all be arrested for, minimally, manslaughter. Every one of them should have told the other cop to get off and pulled him off if necessary. There is nothing a handcuffed person lying on the ground can do to endanger them.

Good one @Peep_Show ! Read it to my husband and told him, see, dear, it could have always been worse. He had to chuckle at the image of the poor guy growing pubes on his head.

Busy day here today but then it is that time of the year.

As for the what is happening in our country, I don't do politics either and in all truthfulness, politics IMHO have very little to do with what is happening.

With the country on edge with Covid-19, people dying, the economy suffering, unemployment soaring, all that was needed was for a match to be struck to set the tinder on fire and that happened. It's going to be a rough summer for America but we are Americans. The best survivors in the whole blinking world! Look at our history. We have always had odds stacked against us, from the first pilgrims who landed at Plymouth Rock, to the pioneers who crossed the country to the first men to go into space and walk on the moon.

We are survivors. And we will survive this also!
