You could use him for breeding and see if he passes on curled toes. Hi might be fine if you are using not closely related hens.

Thanks Ron none of my birds are related to him. I got him from a guy that was selling him on Facebook. He is very handsome so much so that I named him "Handsome". lol

creeping in sneakily, slightly out of breath. No energy. Had "that" flu and yesterday was the first day I could keep solid food down. Seems NOW as if a week just flashed by without me, but during that week I felt like I was stuck in one, long, awful string of the same horrible moment over and over. I thought I had food poisoning, but friends who had the flu tell me my symptoms mirrored theirs.

Well, perhaps they didn't experience the blankety-blank FLY which decided to crawl into my left ear during one of my not-puking periods of inactivity. Not kidding in the least.

Note to anyone who may be paying attention: do not try to get a bug of any kind out of one's ear canal with a Q-Tip. This tactic is very high on the Stupid List.

Either I need to get out more... Or less.

Loved the Family History tale as I caught up with over a week of posts.

There is now a gate across the entrance to my Ranch property.


My contractor is busy for the next three months - thanks to the stupid warm weather we're having here in California - so I have some time to save up for Coop #2, which I have now figured out where I want it placed.

Let me apologize to you for the Heritage Phase II thread. The get a bit weird over there and it is worst since Bob Blosl passed in October.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed a brief glimpse into my family history. Thanks for your comments. I figured that's what old folks are supposed to do - tell their tale. There's a lot more where that came from.

Pozees, I really can't say what show it was on. It was a group that does ghost hunts all around this region. Alton, IL is just north of here and is one of the most haunted towns in the country. They had a table set up in the courtyard with monitors for each camera. They also had mobile cameras as they walked around trying to elicit a response.
They gave be a DVD of the night but I haven't even looked at it yet. They had 6 or 7 cameras set up so I'm sure it's pretty long.

A new page starts tomorrow. My daughter is leaving in the morning for 3 months in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. I'm just a little worried about the protests in Bangkok right now.
