I believe so.. however, we don't get extremely cold weather down here.. maybe a night or two, rarely below freezing. I just don't have the motivation to build more coops for the time being, still have about 1/2 acre to clear this winter which will keep me busy enough.Congratulations!

Hatching is harder in the winter because of the low light conditions and moltingI believe so.. however, we don't get extremely cold weather down here.. maybe a night or two, rarely below freezing. Gator does me that way, only he starts out by laying from side to side on the bed, or taking his 'half' out of the middle... Nice for him to leave me a sliver of bed to sleep on.The cat got up on the bed. I was sleeping on my side, so she curled up in the bend in the back of my knees. As she got comfortable, she stretched out. While asleep, I moved my knees more toward my chin. She stretched out more. Usually, I wake up around this point, and eject her off the bed, or move her down by my feet. This time, I didn't. By now, she's stretched almost completely across the middle of the bed. I was curled up in a tight ball, towards the top of the bed, like a contortionist. I'm past my contortionist days. I don't know how long we stayed like that, but long enough that I ache all over.
I'll get to stirring around, and work the kinks out. Still, I hate when that happens.
