The Old Folks Home

Noticed your location, we have one of those in Fl
If you are talking drainage pipes, the one under the road is a good 4 feet in diameter. I would think that there would be a railing on either side of the road to keep people from accidentally going off the road there.

Evening everyone.

One of those days where I slept most of the afternoon. I woke up with excruciating left knee pain at 5AM. Same old same old so I took it easy and felt better when I woke up. You would think I'd be used to it by now but nope.

It was nicer here today. Only low 80s but the humidity was high so it felt much warmer. I had to toss another rooster into the bachelor pen. I don't know what's going on with them. Usually when they molt they settle down but not this year. Seems like 'game on' is the rule of the day. But then I guess boys will be boys.

As for getting stuck. I don't think the guys around here worry about it. There is always some piece of machinery bigger than the one they are using that can come and drag them out. More than once, DH has found himself getting too close to the pond while backing the brush hog in to cut back the weeds or got into dirt that is still too soft. That is why buckets were put on the front of tractors, LOL.

Another thing that gets my goat (actually I don't have a goat) is the speed limit is 45 on our road. There is limited vision in many areas due to hills and curves. People drive likes it's the Talladega speed way, including construction vehicles, logging trucks and trucks with long trailers full of dirt or gravel. Somebody is gonna get runned over.
